We've stayed at several hotels in Soldotna over the last 20 years and Aspen hotel is absolutely the best. Clean rooms, great location next to the river walk and very friendly staff. We were 2 hours late for our checkout due to an early morning fishing trip and they waived the late checkout fee for us. Definitely recommend!

Quick check in and friendly staff. Excellent amenities within the room. Nice view especially of the river on the back side of the property. They do not offer breakfast options but the coffee bar in the lobby was nice. Lots of shopping options and grocery stores nearby.

All staff members we encountered were polite and helpful. I called for an early check-in since we drove several hours for a Wedding and they were accommodating. We enjoyed the pool, would have loved to use the hot tub but it was closed. However, the pool was warm. Laundry facilities were nice and clean. The hotel was very quiet. The price for our room was reasonable. Room was clean and had extra blankets for the cold night. Everything was perfect!

Very quiet and clean hotel, love the kitchenettes. The bed also had very comfy down pillows. No complimentary breakfast but they did have tea and coffee. There is a trail outside that leads to a lovely boardwalk path along the river. My only complaint is that the toilet paper was extremely thin, this might be the thinnest toilet paper I have ever seen.

I was so impressed with the personal care and understanding of the importance of our 20th anniversary. We missed having the pool last night because we got back from dinner too late, but we were able to jump in this morning. Very lovel. I highly recommend your hotel. It was a great getaway for us. We were so pleased with this hotel! It was quiet, spotless, the room was big, and the staff was pleasant and accomodating. The location is close to the hospital which was convenient for us. We will definitely stay here again.

After spending 6 nights in a truck camper for fishing and then having our friends totes to bring back to Minnesota added we had no room to move so I booked us a room at Aspen hotel and couldn’t not have been happier. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Plenty of room if you are a fisherman for gear and a huge added bonus they have some freezer space for processed and boxed fish. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets amazing. There were plenty of towels and a very clean bathroom. The staff went above and beyond in helping us with our needs and security was wonderful and very appreciated. The hotel is conveniently close to several restaurants, a grocery store and shops. We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone to stay here also.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve stayed there. Always consistently clean and well run. I really appreciate the great location and the reliable staff and service. Aspen is my go to lodging for Kenai/Soldotna.

Hotel is very clean. All employees were very nice. Pool and hot tub are cleaned regularly. Stayed for several nights this year and front desk clerks remembered my name and made my stay enjoyable. Highly Recommend!

Riley, the front desk staff was very accommodating to our early check-in request. She made our day very enjoyable with the option of getting in early after a very cold morning of fishing.
